Most definately didnt go as planned. Kinda gave up half way through on this one, but whatever. Making another one in the next couple of days, which is going to be even more random :)
My original plan was to paint the detail on, but couldnt find a paintbrush suitable for the detail, so had to go for a fine black edible ink pen. Think it would of looked a million times better painted though :(
(baking for a competition, this was a warm up cake)

In my world all ink is edible, although green ink is not worth getting a sore 'tomach for.

Regardless of whether you think what you did was a success i still think it's very impressive.

Oh, wow, this looks pretty neat. Did you have to do a sketch of the cake first to have an idea where to put all the different types of shading techniques in?
